She’s Back!

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

Well, hello dear readers! I’m back!!

Today, I finally figured out how to link my flickr account with this blog. Just in case you hadn’t figured it out yet, I’m not the most technically savvy of photographers. But, I’m learning! With enough time and the right “_____ for Dummies” books, I will be well on my way to having a fantastic blog full of my work. I wonder if anyone anywhere teaches a class on WordPress and Blogging for Dummy Photographers. Humm, must inspect.

Like I said around Thanksgiving of last year, I want to do a gratitude image post. Once a week might be feasible, but I can definately promise you once a month, now that I’ve sorted out one way of getting images here. I also have made a promise to myself that I am going to take at least 10 pictures everyday. Out of those 70+ pictures, each week I will pick out a couple of the ones I find most appealing and share them with you.

Get excited! I’m unemployed and want to get things rolling. :)

And, don’t forget to check out my Etsy site: Ellie McHale Photography. I may have mentioned this before, but the prints will be unmatted/unframed. If you’d like them matted, let me know and we will work something out. Matting will cost a little extra and the price will depend on what you want. :)

Images For Sale!

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Hello friends, family, and random blog browsers!

Yes, it’s been a couple months since I’ve posted. I know I promised some images.  But, with a slow, aging laptop with memory that has been bombarded by my growing music collection, I never seem to have the patience to spend hours resizing one, maybe two images. And, that’s just the resizing. It would probably take another hour to upload said images onto this blog!

With that said, I did manage to upload three images to Etsy, a community of people selling their own handiwork or “vintage” items they have come across in their lives. I would love if you all, at least, took a gander at my Etsy page. And, it would be greatly appriciated if you spread the word. The more people who view mypage, the more likely someone will buy an image, therefore allowing me the funds to display more images!

FYI, the images may not be of the most superb quality on Etsy, due to forced resizing. In their original size, there is much more detail and magic. Once printed, the images will, of course, look much better.
